2nd Brazilian Computer Science Graduate Seminar

The Seminar provides an opportunity for the community to analyze the Brazilian Graduate Programs in Computer Science with the support of an International Committee formed by leading researchers with extensive experience on the evaluation of graduate programs. The Seminar will be composed of presentations by the Head of the Graduate Programs Levels 5 to 7. Those of Level 6 and 7 will be accompanied by the International Committee and those of Level 5 by a National Committee. All graduate programs in Computer Science are expected to be represented by their coordinator(s) or representative.

Alex Kot Nanyang Technology University, Singapore
He is currently Professor and the Associate Dean (Graduate Studies) for the College of Engineering (COE) and Director of ROSE Lab [Rapid(Rich) Object SEearch Lab] with Peking University, Tencent and Inspur. His research contributes to the areas of signal processing for communication, biometrics recognition, data-hiding, authentication and image forensics for digital media.
Hans-Ulrich Heiß Vice-President TU-Berlin, Germany
He is Professor in Computer Science with research interest in Operating Systems, Distributed Systems, Parallel Computing, Security and Performance Analysis. He is Chairman of the German Council of Informatics Department and Vice-president of the Informatics Europe.
Moshe Vardi Rice University, USA
He is the Karen Ostrum George Distinguished Service Professor in Computational Engineering and Director of the Ken Kennedy Institute for Information Technology at Rice University. He is currently a Senior Editor of of the Communications of the ACM, after having served for a decade as Editor-in-Chief.
Jim Woodcock York University, UK
He is Professor of Software Engineering in the Department of Computer Science at the University of York and has research interest in verification and correctness of computer-based systems.
